Semi-automatic parking facility – advanced parking solutions
A semi-automatic mechanical parking system is suitable for above-ground parking and for receiving vehicles from the ground level. These parking facilities are mainly suitable for terrain conditions where both the vertical and horizontal axes can be maximally utilized. In 2021, we at Carib Parking Solutions designed the largest semi-automatic parking facility in Israel, containing 73 parking spaces and located in the industrial area of Jerusalem.
The system consists of parking spaces that are not necessarily identical in size, which is why parking solutions of this type are sometimes called a “parking puzzle.” One of the main advantages of this method is the ability to adjust the various parking data, including the number of parking spaces, the size and weight of the various vehicles using it, as well as the adaptation of the facility itself to its environment due to the ability to control a variable ratio between the number of rows to the width and the number of floors to the height, and to make changes to it in the future by readjusting the spaces.
